The extreme-level wedding spending isn't over yet. We feel sorry for Tamara's billionaire dad Bernie. Well, sort of
It's not that we weren't expecting Tamara Ecclestone to have a
massively luxury honeymoon, given her billionaire Dad and everything.
It's just that we could probably have done without seeing it in all it's
frolicking around on a luxury yacht in the sunshine glory, if we're
honest.
The heiress
and new husband Jay Rutland are honeymooning in St Tropez on a 300k a
week luxury superyacht called the Silver Angel, which is big enough for
14 guests, and comes complete with its own jacuzzi, marble interiors and
even a helipad (ya know, just in case). It can also carry 21 members of
staff for the ultimate superyacht experience (with ten and a half staff
each that's fairly ultimate). We'd be way more smiley than this

The staff boarded the well plus yacht after a lavish wedding
at the Grand Hotel Saint Jean Cap Ferrat on the French Riviera,
surrounded by over 150 guests, including Jason Statham and Rosie
Huntington-Whiteley, Sean Connery and, er, Lizzie Cundy. Reports
suggested that Tamara's dad Bernie Ecclestone spent £600,000 on hiring
out all 73 rooms in the five-star hotel as well as £3.5million on
entertainment, including a 30-minute fireworks display and an Elton John
gig. Which seems like rather a lot to us. It's a bit of a step up from the Big Brother one

Still, we suppose it's all relative. When you supposedly have a
£200,000 handbag collection, a shoe closet containing 100 pairs of
Christian Louboutins worth £70,000, and a designer wardrobe worth
£1million, you're going to rack it up on your big day. And especially
when you have your sister's own wedding extravaganza to compete with. We wouldn't like to honeymoon here. No way

Anyway, it's probably not all perfect. Imagine trying to have
your honeymoon with 21 members of staff hanging around, trying to peel
grapes for you every minute. No, we're not jealous. Not jealous at all.
