There were a few shaky moments but the world's biggest boyband impressed as they opened the show in Los Angeles

One Direction probably spent more time on stage at the Teen Choice Awards than they did in their set
They opened the bash with a performance of newest single Best Song Ever and were honoured with four prizes – but some fans weren’t totally convinced by their vocals.
Some fans reckon the lads are overworked after performing most nights since their mammoth 117-date Take Me Home world tour kicked off earlier this year.
One comment on YouTube said: Oh my gosh! I love them, but I have to admit it that this performance is not so good.

“Maybe they’re just tired. I mean Zayn sang so low, and Louis messed up with the lyrics. Fans should still love their idols even if they making a mistake, and we should admit it. I can still smile looking all of them.”
Another agreed, adding: “They needed a break before this show. They were obviously all tired. Louis looked upset. And they all looked miserable.”
But their allegiance of fans won’t be giving up hope on their idols and aren’t bothered by the critics claiming it’s reassuring to see a shaky performances as it proves – at least – they sing live.

1D won a nice bunch of trophies, including Choice Summer Tour, Choice Group, Choice Single (Live While We're Young) and Choice Love Song (Little Things).
Harry Styles also won two individual awards for being Choice Hottie and Choice Smile, which basically makes him beautiful *elbow elbow*.

Ian Somerhalder & Nina Dobrev Win Big At 2013 Teen Choice Awards

‘The Vampire Diaries’ stars came together Aug. 11 to support their hit CW series — and they both looked amazing.

This year’s Teen Choice Awards red carpet might have been the most smolder-y yet, thanks in large part to the presence of Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev! The stars of The CW’s The Vampire Diaries looked fang-tastic as they made their way down the carpet Aug. 11, turning heads and inducing wild screams from their fans.
Never one to waste an opportunity to look incredible, Nina had tongues wagging in a plunging floral jumpsuit. Ian, meanwhile, kept things more casual in a little black t-shirt. And in typical Ian fashion — pun intended, of course — the eco-friendly celeb’s ensemble drew attention to his organization, the Ian Somerhalder Foundation.
In fact, Ian’s shirt was actually an exclusive collaboration between the ISF and RYOT News, designed by The Vanity Project. The shirt will be available for purchase in late August, and proceeds will go to support both organizations. 
“The Vanity Project has collaborated with over 40 non-profit organizations to raise awareness through fashion and innovative logo design,” according to the organization.
We love seeing Ian, 34, and Nina, 24, together — and we’re even more excited to see them back on The CW for the Oct. 3 season premiere of The Vampire Diaries!

‘The Vampire Diaries’ Nominated For 8 Teen Choice Awards

Of course, Ian and Nina didn’t just attend the TCAs to look amazing — though they both accomplished that effortlessly. They were there to represent their hit CW drama, which was up for eight total awards!
The show itself was nominated for Choice Fantasy/Sci-Fi Show; Ian and Paul Wesley were nominated for Choice Actor: Fantasy/Sci-Fi; Nina and Kat Graham were nominated for Choice Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi; Steven R. McQueen was nominated for Choice Scene Stealer, Male; Candice Accola was nominated for Choice Scene Stealer, Female; and Joseph Morgan was nominated for Choice TV Villain.
(Whew! That’s a lot of nominations.)
Nina, Ian and the show all won in their respective categories, and we couldn’t be happier! Sadly, Joseph lost to Pretty Little Liars actress Janel Parrish, and Steven was bested by Glee‘s Chord Overstreet. Lastly, and definitely most surprisingly, Candice lost to Miley Cyrus for her recurring role on CBS’ Two and a Half Men.

It was one of the most beloved movies of 2012, and “Pitch Perfect” just received a trio of nominations from the 2013 Teen Choice Awards.
Kicking things off is none other than Adam Devine, whose depiction of Bumper earned him a mention in both the Choice Villain and Choice Breakout categories.
Meanwhile, Hana Mae Lee and Ben Platt were both nominated in the Scene Stealer realm, and they’re up against Kellan Lutz.
The 2013 Teen Choice Awards are entirely voted on by fans, and the winners will be announced on August 11th!

2013 Teen Choice Awards Nominees Unveiled

It’s one of the biggest nights of the year for the entertainment industry, and the 2013 Teen Choice Awards hopefuls have just been named.
And this time around, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 2” has scored an impressive seven nods overall, including mentions for Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

Also on the list are “Iron Man 3” costars Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow as well as real-life married couple Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz.
Slated to air live on Sunday, August 11th, the 2013 Teen Choice Awards will be an evening to remember. The list of nominees is as follows:
