Adele shows off her new tattoo which might annoy Lana Del Rey

Adele got some ink done on her hand but 'Someone Like You' has the exact same one

Adele's been a bit off-radar lately, apart from this rare public appearance with Heidi like plaits in her hair .
And it turns out she's been busy getting a new tattoo, this time on the outside of her hand saying the word 'Paradise'.
A Facebook post from Bang Bang Tattoos showed off the picture captioned with the words:
"The lovely Adele came in to get tattooed today."

We thought it looked a bit familiar, and it turns out Lana Del Rey has the exact same tatt.
OK, so the font's a bit different, but it's the exact same word in the exact same place. Uh-oh.
Lana's album was called Paradise and the Videogames singer gushed about her hand markings to German mag Der Spiegel:
"Death and paradise for me are linked. I expect after my death, something that is very calm and relaxed. This can already be described as paradise. It is so loaded with meaning. I just like the word 'paradise'."
"I even tattooed it on my hand. I love the meaning of the words. I have tattooed on my arm the names of my favorite authors, Whitman and Nabokov. Whenever I look at it, I remember that life can be great."

Right you are then.
We wonder what Adele's reasoning was.
The Rolling In The Deep singer is no stranger to permanent ink.
She showed off an 'A' behind her ear at the Grammy awards , sparking speculation her baby son's name was Angelo.
Robbie Williams recently revealed that his daughter Teddy is mates with Angelo, and that he'd give his daughter drugs.
Kristen Stewart's also been getting inked, although hers is very tiny..

Yay! Adele adds ‘MBE for services to music’ to her massive shelf full of awards

Yay! Adele adds ‘MBE for services to music’ to her massive shelf full of awards

Someone call a handyman! Adele is bound to be running out of shelf space given the amount of awards she has been winning, most recent being an MBE for services to music.
Adele was given the MBE as part of the Queen’s Birthday Honours list, the latest in a long line of musical accolades. At just 25 years old, and with only two albums under her belt so far, Adele has sold nearly seven MILLION albums in the UK alone.
As well as her MBE, Adele’s trophy cabinet contains a selection of Grammys, Ivor Novello Awards, Brit Awards and even an Oscar for her song Skyfall from the James Bond film of the same name. All that and she topped the 2012 Sunday Times Rich List of musicians in the UK under 30 years old!
We think Adele deserves all the success she has been enjoying – the hard working and publicity-shy singer has taken the world by storm for her talent rather than her private life. During her pregnancy with her husband Simon Konecki, the singer was rarely seen and has managed to keep her and her family’s life out of the public eye as much as possible.
It is reported that Adele is currently working on her next album, which she said she would do once she ‘had something to sing about.’ We can’t wait to hear it, and long may the awards continue!

Adele Scores Biggest-Selling Album in the World…Again

It’s no secret that her 21 album has ruled the charts for years, and now Adele has been named the hottest-selling artist for 2012.
The “Rolling in the Deep” songstress moved 4.4 million units of the record last year, following 2011 sales of 5.8 million copies.
Additionally, 21 garnered Adele a whopping seven Grammy Awards, two Brit trophies, three American Music Awards, twelve Billboard Music honors, and various other accolades.
One Direction, Rod Stewart, and Mumford & Sons also nabbed spots in the top 10 list, proving that the UK’s music is among the best in the world.
Prime Minister David Cameron told press, “We should be extremely proud of how our world-leading music industry continues to go from strength to strength, with a record share of the global market and with British acts having the world’s top selling album for five of the last six years.”
“British music is enjoyed across the world and we will keep backing our creative industries that support jobs, create opportunities and contribute to the economy.”
