Once the baby is delivered, the tradition will continue with a wood and gold easel — the same easel used to announce the birth of William in 1982 — placed just behind the gates of Buckingham Palace to announce the baby’s delivery. The birth bulletin will include the baby’s gender, weight and time of birth, with the name being announced at a separate time.

Although the gender of the royal baby has been kept under wraps, a source told Us Weekly that Kate and William “will pose with the baby for pictures” upon leaving the hospital. It sounds like we won’t have to wait long to actually see him or her!

Kate Middleton And Prince William Ready To Be Parents
Kate has done a great job in her role as Duchess of Cambridge, and now she and William are ready to take on the role of royal mommy and daddy. Mike Tindall, William’s cousin, told the Daily Mirror that Kate is “a natural mother,” and we know that has to be true with the way she has interacted with her fans around the world.

He also said the entire royal family can’t wait for the baby as much as Kate and William.

“The whole family is really excited about the baby,” he said. “I think everyone’s excited. I’m so happy for those two. They’ll be great parents.”

Kate has said she’s nervous about giving birth, but also said ‘it would be unnatural if I wasn’t. It’s just human, isn’t it?’” We think she’s completely entitled to be nervous, but we’re sure she’s now more excited than anything!

Kate Middleton & Prince William’s Baby’s Official Royal Title Revealed

kate-middleton-june-4-ftr

As we eagerly await the birth of the royal baby, news of the baby boy or girl’s official royal title has been confirmed! Royal experts and insiders tell HollywoodLife.com what the bundle of joy will be named.

Kate Middleton and Prince William‘s baby is due any minute, and while the couple makes final preparations for their bundle of joy — and we all embark on the Great Kate Wait — we have confirmation on the royal baby’s official title!

Royal Baby’s Official Title Revealed
William and Kate were officially given new titles when they got married on April 29, 2011 — the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. And now, they’re ready for their little bundle of joy to recieve his or her official royal title.

The palace confirms the official title. A palace spokesperson tells HollywoodLife.com:

The baby will be called HRH Prince or Princess (name) of Cambridge. In the same way as HRH Prince William of Wales, and HRH Princess Beatrice of York. Please note, there is no definite article (no “the”) — the child will not be The Prince or Princess of Cambridge. Incidentally, Cambridge is a city.

The new title is not to be confused with The Prince or Princess of Cambridge, which is a different title. Robert Jobson, royal correspondent for NBC, explained.

“There is a difference,” he confirmed. “The baby will be called HRH Prince or Princess (name) of Cambridge.”

Queen Elizabeth ‘Would Very Much’ Like Baby To Arrive
While the world waits for the royal baby to arrive, Queen Elizabeth II revealed her eagerness for her great-grandbaby to arrive! She told schoolchildren at an an appearance in Lake Windermere in Cumbria on July 17:

Kate Middleton & Prince William: Their Final Pregnancy Prep Revealed

Royal Baby Prep

As Kate waits for the birth of her first royal child, a new report claims that she and Prince William have been going to great — and maybe even peculiar — lengths to make sure they’re ready for the big day.

Kate Middleton and Prince William are making sure they have every single base covered in the lead-up to the birth of their first child.

Kate Middleton & Prince William Meet With Pregnancy Guru
They’ve even reportedly met with Christine Hill, a 65-year-old pediatric and obstetric physiotherapist who has been dubbed a “pregnancy guru,” according to The Telegraph.

The Duchess spent two sessions with Christine, who has also written a book titled Christine Hill’s Pregnancy Guide. Prince William accompanied Kate for the second visit.

“[They're] a very strong team,” Christine told The Telegraph. “Prince William will be doing the right stuff on the day.”

As for what the right stuff is, the guru also revealed the tips she gives first-time fathers. “I tell the fathers that the girl they hitched up with has gone for now — that she is fragile and vulnerable, and will be through pregnancy, labor and the first few weeks.” In other words, it’s up to William to be the strong and nurturing one.

Pregnancy Guru Tells Kate Middleton What Giving Birth Is REALLY Like
Christine also revealed that she was totally blunt and upfront with Kate about how hard giving birth is. “No one prepares you for the true ghastliness of birth. There’s a sort of whimsical attitude that it will all be lovely and that everyone can have a natural birth. But that’s not true.”

She didn’t do any sugarcoating in terms of preparing Kate for life after birth either! “Put a line through your calendar,” she says. “Accept that this is going to change your life, that you will stay in a nightdress for a week.”

Well it sounds like Kate had a pretty good, tough teacher to get her ready for motherhood. Now if she could just have the baby, right?

Christine said that after observing the royal couple, she could see that Prince William and Kate are "a very strong team" and added: "Prince William will be doing the right stuff on the day."

Kate Middleton’s New Due Date Revealed By Her Mom — Report

Royal Baby Due Date

Kate’s July 13 due date has come and gone, but the Duchess is still pregnant! Could she and Prince William have intentionally been vague about the due date? Kate’s mom Carole Middleton has reportedly spilled the beans about a much later due date!

The world is waiting with bated breath for the royal baby to arrive, but it may not be as soon as we all think! Kate Middleton and Prince William‘s supposed due date of July 13 has passed, but we now know that that may not have been her real due date!

Kate Middleton Allegedly Not Due Until July 23
Kate’s mom Carole Middleton reportedly told her friends that the baby will be a Leo, meaning the newborn isn’t supposed to arrive for a few more days!

Kate’s due date may not be for another week or so, according to NBC. The news site reports that Kate’s mom Carole may have spilled the beans about her daughter’s real due date by revealing the baby’s astrological sign! The grandmother-to-be allegedly told friends that the royal baby will be a Leo, which means that Kate would not give birth until at least July 23.

Evidence of Kate and William’s Later Due Date
News of a later due date would certainly make complete sense, especially taking into account the other evidence of a July 23 due date.

For one, the Palace has never officially announced the day the baby is slated to be born, only the month. William’s friends reportedly revealed the July 13 due date, but in an official statement, the Clarence House official website confirmed the news that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting. The statement read:

Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July.

William’s friends reportedly revealed the July 13 date, not the palace — the couple could have been keeping the real due date under wraps after all!

The July 23 due date would also explain why Prince William participated in a charity polo match 100 miles away from his wife, the weekend of her due date! It would seem awful risky to sign up for an event that far away from the hospital if he thought she would go into labor that weekend.

When it was revealed that Kate had fled the high temperatures of her Nottingham Cottage home in favor of the cooler temperatures at her parents’ home in Bucklebury – an hour away from the London hospital where Kate is supposed to give birth — the public was concerned that Kate would not make it back to London in time for the birth. But if Kate and Will aren’t due until July 23, they have plenty of time for the Duchess to relax surrounded by her family, and still return home to give birth at St. Mary’s Hospital!

Were Will and Kate Afraid of Going Into Labor Early?
Going into early labor is not uncommon, so Kate may have been intentionally vague about her due date to ensure that the world would be ready for the royal arrival. Kate may have been worried that an early delivery would leave people scrambling to prepare for the birth of the new heir to the throne, which is a worldwide event. After Kim Kardashian had to deliver her first child five weeks early just last month, it seems like Kate’s decision was for the better! The world is waiting on pins and needles for the heir to the royal throne to arrive, and everyone is ready!

What do you think,? Do you think Kate Middleton lied about her due date?

Kate Middleton Stays At Her Parents’ House To Wait For The Royal Baby

Kate Middleton Baby Birth Location

The next heir to the throne is almost here! Now that Kate’s July 13 due date has come and gone, the Duchess of Cambridge has gone to her parents’ house to wait for the royal baby’s arrival.

The world is waiting with bated breath for Kate Middleton, 31, and Prince William, 31, to welcome the royal baby! No one is more excited than the Duchess of Cambridge herself, who decided to spend some time at her parents’  home in Bucklebury before the big day.

Kate Middleton Stays At Her Parents’ House To Wait For The Royal Baby
Kate had been hiding out at her parents’ house for the past few weeks before moving to a home much closer to St. Mary’s Hospital in London, where she will give birth. But with Will away at a charity polo match on July 14, Kate went back to Bucklebury for another visit with her parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, according to People magazine.

A heat wave has pushed temperatures in Bucklebury into the high 80s, but we’re sure Kate’s parents are doing everything they can to keep the mom-to-be comfortable!

Kate Middleton Baby — Hospital Prepares For The Duchess Of Cambridge To Give Birth
Meanwhile, at St. Mary’s Hospital, the staff can’t wait for Kate to arrive and give birth to the royal baby!

“Every tea break I will ask around, ‘Is she here yet?’” Lyza Marie Felicia, 25, a radiologist’s assistant in the Lindo Wing, told People magazine. “It’s been the topic of the day for a week now. But we know it’s a royal baby, so it’s a really big deal and everything has to be really private.”

To ensure Will and Kate’s privacy, Lyza and her co-workers had to sign confidentialty agreements.

“There is really tight security now on that ward,” she said. “We have to sign our names in as we come into the ward and when we leave.”

Lyza added, “I asked security two days ago if Kate had arrived, and he could only tell me that she hadn’t arrived.”

Kate Middleton & Prince William: Huge Party Planned For Baby’s Birth

Royal Baby Birthday Party

Once Kate Middleton gives birth, the tight-knit parish of Bucklebury will throw a ‘massive’ party to celebrate the birth of the Royal baby. We hope our invite’s in the mail!

The whole world is preparing for the arrival of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s baby, but no one will probably be celebrating harder than the tight-knit parish of Bucklebury.

Royal Baby Birthday Party — A Bucklebury Bash For WilLiam & Kate
“[The party] will be massive,”  The Old Boot Inn owner John Haley told Celebuzz.

John was invited to Kate and William’s wedding in 2011, and he threw a celebration for the locals afterwards. He plans to do the same for the birth of Baby Cambridge. He said:

“After the wedding we had 350 people here for a party, and it’ll be much the same [for the birth]. Hoping for 200 people to come down! I actually asked Kate if she could please tell me the date so we could plan the party. She said, ‘John I really would but I have no idea what day it is.’ It’s very difficult to plan because we don’t know the arrival so we’re waiting. Kate always comes in and orders something special. I asked her if we could reveal and serve her favorite dish and she said she wouldn’t mind. We have a bottle or two in the fridge ready to be popped when the baby is here – to wet the baby’s head and the parents and bless the baby. We are ready to party once we get that call.”

It really sounds like it will be a party to remember! We’re so excited — we only wish we were invited.

What do YOU think,? Would you want to go to this party?

Kate Middleton In Labor? — Truth Revealed

Kate Middleton Labor Rumors

Twitter was a buzz on July 11 alleging that a helicopter had been spotted outside the Duchess of Cambridge’s house, and she was on her way to the hospital! So is the royal baby really on the way?

As Kate Middleton, 31, prepares to give birth to the royal baby, people all over the world are on the edge of their seats waiting for the fateful moment she heads to the hospital. But eager Twitter users may have jumped the gun on the morning of July 11, which is reportedly her due date, when rumors started flying that she had gone into labor.

Kate Middleton In Labor Rumors Run Rampant On Twitter
The birth of the royal baby is the event of the summer, so it’s no surprise that some people are especially eager for the announcement that the little prince or princess is on the way. However, Twitter went into a frenzy on the morning of July 11, alleging that a helicopter was spotted near Kate and Prince William’s home in Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace, ready to take her to the hospital.

@L0gg0l tweeted on July 11, “Kate Middleton said to be in labor after emergency helicopter lands at Kensington Palace (via @betvictor) #RoyalBaby.” It was retweeted 25 times.

@simplyyamina wrote, “KATEMIDDLETON IS IN LABOR WHY AM I STRESSED OUT ABOUT THIS.”

Kate Middleton Not In Labor (Yet)
However, all of the buzz that started the pregnancy rumors — a helicopter spotted on the grounds of Kensington Palace — was a false alarm.

“We were called to two other incidents in the area. There’s nothing else of significance relating to the royal birth,” a spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service (LAS) told DigitalSpy.com, according to Examiner.com. @L0gg0 even later wrote that the labor rumors weren’t true.

A palace spokesperson tells Ninegossips.blogspot.com EXCLUSIVELY:

We do not comment on ongoing speculation.

Kate Middleton Labor Rumors False — Twitter Reacts
Luckily, Twitter found some humor in all of the speculative drama.

@mommyishdotcom tweeted, “Kate Middleton Is In Labor According To The Ultra Reliable Source Of Twitter.”

@itzfedex wrote, “Courtesy of Twitter I’ve learned Kate Middleton is in labor under hypnosis in a birthing pool while wearing 3 dresses.”

@AnnapolisPrep chimed in and tweeted, “#NewsFlash Kate Middleton is not in labor. She was just taking a dump. False alarm.”

When Kate does finally go into labor, it will start an official chain of events. She will be taken via helicopter from Kensington Palace to St. Mary’s hospital. Meanwhile, an armed security guard will stand outside the Lindo Wing of the hospital, waiting for her arrival. Then an official press release will be sent out from the palace, and an official tweet will be sent, forcing the twittersphere to rely on facts rather than pure speculation.

Kate Middleton: Will She Give Birth July 13? Palace Reveals

Kate Middleton Due Date

The Duchess of Cambridge is due to give birth any minute, and the world is waiting for the fateful moment when the royal baby arrives. But is she expected to give birth on her reported due date, July 13? The palace tells us EXCLUSIVELY!

As Kate Middleton, 31, waits to go into labor, swarms of media photographers and reporters are camped outside St. Mary’s Hospital for when the Duchess of Cambridge arrives to deliver the royal baby. So when can we expect the little prince or princess to arrive?

Kate Middleton: Will She Give Birth On July 13?
Although the palace has never officially released Kate’s due date, U.K. reports are insisting she’s due on July 13 (different from some U.S. reports that said July 11). Everyone is waiting for the historic event, but the palace isn’t exactly banking on the Duchess delivering on her actual due date. A rep for the royal couple tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY:

Babies come when they want to, so we will see!

But as soon as Kate goes into labor, there will be no question — everyone will know that the royal baby is on the way! The rep adds:

When the Duchess is admitted to the hospital and is safe and secure, we will release a press release. So far, that has not happened.

Kate Middleton: Could She Be Induced Days After Due Date?
Since Kate could give birth whenever the little prince or princess decides to make an appearance, it could be days past her due date. But doctors recommend not going more than two weeks past your due date to induce labor.

Bradley G. Goldberg, M.D., said that his practice will induce a woman a week and a half past her due date if she is already dialted, according to an article he wrote for TheBabyCorner.com. He added that many doctors won’t let pregnancies go more than two weeks past term to induce labor.

Will & Kate’s Soon-To-Be-Born Baby: Merchandising Mayhem!

It’s easily the biggest event of the year, and when Kate Middleton gives birth to Prince William's baby this month, there will be plenty of money to be made.

As expected, there are all kinds of Royal-baby-themed novelties on the market already, however the mystery surrounding the name and gender of the child has created a bit of an obstacle for creating more personalized goods.

For example, fine bone china craftsman Sophie Allport has resorted to taking pre-orders for her mugs, contingent on Will & Kate’s choice of moniker for their bundle of joy. "We've never done something like this so I hope it works.”

British Ceramic Confederation CEO Francis Morrall agreed- "All of the designs will have been prepared months ago.”

Still, creative capitalists have come up with a full line of products (think “I Love Uncle Harry” and “Born to Rule” slogans) that are already market-ready.

Here are the top five crazy baby creations commemorating the arrival of the future Prince or Princess of Cambridge!

1. Royal Baby Sick Bags [$4.55 each]

These clever favors serve a dual purpose, both for expectant mothers who want to feel close to Royalty during their morning sickness cycle as well as for folks who are already nauseous from the world’s obsession with the celebrated progeny.

2. “Keep Calm My Granny is the Queen” Baby Onesie [$40]

The Prince or Princess of Cambridge will no doubt be an instant fashion trendsetter, so why not get started early with this adorable little ensemble? It’s doubtful that Kate will actually take her little one out in public wearing such a garment, but it sure looks comfortable for romping around Buckingham Palace.

3. “Shhh! Don’t Wake the Royal Baby” Book [$9]

For new parents the world over, this new publication might just be the perfect way to incorporate Royal Baby fever into the story-before-bed routine. The opening line states, “It’s chaos at the Royal Palace—the Royal Baby just won’t go to sleep. Waaaaah! Waaaaah! Waaaaah!”

4. Royal Baby Biscuit Tin [$60]

The perfect snack for camping out in front of the television as the Duchess of Cambridge goes into labor, the Royal Baby Biscuit Tin from London’s Biscuiteers bakery includes cookies shaped like booties, rattles, bottles, and a rocking horse. Chances are, they taste as good as they look!

5. Royal Baby Stone Plaque [$70]

While most parents don’t even have an engraved mantelpiece for their own baby’s arrival, the Rustic Stone company hopes that enthusiasts will be eager to get their hands on a commemorative stone plaque in honor of Will & Kate’s kid. The etching declares, “Commemorating the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge Royal Birth- July 2013.” However, on the off-chance that Baby Cambridge is a few weeks late, these will hit the bargain bin faster than Prince Harry got naked in Vegas.

Kate Middleton Out-Smarts Shutterbugs!

Posted Thursday July 11, 2013 3:40 PM GMT

The scene at St. Mary’s Hospital in London is tense as everyone anxiously awaits the arrival of Prince William and Kate Middleton's baby.
However, the Duchess of Cambridge managed to go undetected on Monday (July 8) when she met with her doctor for a prenatal screening.
A patient at the medical center told press, “I was at St. Mary’s with Kate Middleton! I was told it was a checkup.”
As for how Ms. Middleton was able to avoid being seen, a local reporter credited the myriad entrances of the hospital’s Lindo Wing. "There are so many different ways in to the Lindo. They can easily ghost her in or out."

Kate Middleton: Her New Pre-Baby Location Revealed

The royal baby is almost here! With their July 13 due date fast approaching, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are preparing for their new arrival. But where are they spending their last precious days before their bundle of joy is born?
Kate Middleton, 31, and Prince William, 31, are officially on baby watch, taking every possible precaution to ensure the safe delivery of their first child, the heir to the royal throne. The newest move has literally moved the expectant mom from her parents’ house, where she has been hiding out for the past few weeks, to a home much closer to the London hospital where she will give birth!

Kate and William Relocate To Prepare For The Royal Baby
Kate and Will are not taking any chances when it comes to their firstborn, even relocating to be closer to the hospital! The mom-to-be has taken up residency at Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace in London. Her new digs — a quaint two-bedroom home — are just across town from St. Mary’s Hospital, where the little prince or princess will be born!

Prince William Still Working While Kate Awaits Delivery
While Kate has selected a new home to wait for the big day, William is almost 300 miles away doing 24-hour search-and-rescue shifts with the Royal Air Force. While Will continues to work up until the birth of his first child, that doesn’t mean he isn’t ensuring that Kate is safe during these last few moments of pregnancy. A source close to the Duchess told Us Weekly:

William has been with Kate as much as possible, whenever he is off shift. They’ve been spending time just the two of them.

But what happens when Prince William is back in Wales, away from his pregnant wife? “There is always another family member with Kate. Kate does not want to have to go to the hospital on her own,” the source added.

So, who has taken the responsibility of looking over the expectant mother? Her own mom, Carole Middleton, of course, who has reportedly been spending time with her daughter before the newborn arrives!

Baby Cambridge Watch Begins in London

Prince William and Kate Middleton are thought to be having their baby soon, and the whole City of London is eagerly waiting for the blessed arrival.
According to a report, the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s hospital has prohibited any parking outside the entrance, and members of the press have already claimed their spot across the street.
Photographer Mark Stewart explained, "We all want a front row position to see history in the making and to record the first appearance of William and Kate's new baby.”
"There is quite a limited space to see that front door properly so you have to get in there early. It's one of the biggest stories in the world right now and everybody wants to get a good vantage point."
Meanwhile, a source shared that Dr. Marcus Setchell is ready for action as soon as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge need him. “He was telling people at a charity cricket match last weekend that he has stopped drinking for the last few weeks."

We had these photos up a few months ago, before the Beefeaters showed up at our door demanding removal by force of their halberds. But now that Kate Middleton is about to give birth to a baby rumored to be my own, I thought we should re-issue this look at the best looking royal in over four hundred years in her last known bikini appearance on the private island of Mustique. Well, not so private an island that there wasn't an Egotastic! friendly dude with a camera roaming the island, but private enough that King James Court and the entire British people went nuts over another exposure of their blue blooded princess.
Given Kate's superior genes, I suspect she'll be back into slender shape in no time after our little secret is born and Prince William gets to pretend to be the father. Maybe we'll even see her in something less than a bikini someday soon too, with a slight hope that motherhood gives a little oomph in her chestal region. Enjoy.
