“Lea never got out of the vehicle," he said but she looked "crushed" as they parked in front of the memorial for five to seven minutes.
They headed off soon and were apparently "driving crazy" once they realised they were being watched.
Feydick says how he and the Glee star had grown apart recently - and he now understands why.
He continued: “He’d become a little more evasive with me and now I think I know why."
When he met up with Cory shortly before he died, the actor asked him to leave him alone.
Feydick said: “Cory asked me to give him some space. He didn’t want a lot of people to know he was up there. So that’s what I did. Now I’m wishing I didn’t.”
