The 21-year-old singer, who has been in an on/off relationship with Bieber for several months, said she has her sights set on bagging an older man after developing a soft spot for the 52-year-old film hunk Clooney, reported E! Online.

"Well I once said Logan Lerman but now it's George Clooney," Gomez said. The 'Come and Get It' hitmaker was recently spotted canoodling once again with Bieber, but her mother Mandy and stepfather Brian Teefey have urged her to stay away from him.

"They told her Justin was a really bad person. They said she has to rid him from her life; otherwise they can't be part of her life - her new baby sister included. There were tears from everyone and Selena was devastated," a source said.

Stepping out for a social call, George Clooney grabbed some lunch with friends in Bellagio, Italy on Friday afternoon (July 19).
The handsome “Up in the Air” actor kept things low-key as he finished up his meal and took a stroll along the shoreline of a nearby lake while sneaky shutterbugs snapped up pics.
Having recently split from Stacy Keibler, George has been the target of tabloid reports that he “unsuccessfully tried to woo” Eva Longoria.
Us Weekly claimed, “He told her that he was still with Stacy, but had plans to break up with her and was interested in being with Eva. She tried to make it clear to him that she would not date or be with him until he was completely single.”
However a friend of Clooney shot down the claims, noting that they “have been friends for a long time… that’s all.”

George Clooney and his wrestler girlfriend have split up because he would not commit to having kids.
Friends said Stacy Keibler, 33, gave up on the Hollywood heart-throb after he refused to settle down and become a dad.
Former WWE wrestling star Stacy had been with Clooney for two years.
Speculation the relationship was on the rocks has been growing over several months after the couple failed to attend key events together.
Last week, Clooney was seen on a boat with friends in Lake Como, Italy, while Stacy was 6,000 miles away in Malibu, California.
A friend told People magazine in America: “Stacy called it quits. She wants to have children and a family some day. She knows where George stands on that. They talked and they quietly stopped being a couple several weeks ago.”
The 52-year-old former ER star has had a string of stunning girlfriends and has been Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor for many years.
But after a failed first marriage to actress Talia Balsam, 54, that lasted less than two years, he vowed that he would never settle down again.
Clooney’s ex-girlfriends include film stars Renee Zellweger and Kelly Preston, British model Lisa Snowden and Italian TV star Elisabetta Canalis who he splitwith in 2011 before dating Stacy.
Stacy has now got her own TV show, Supermarket Superstar, which will premiere on America’s Lifetime channel later this month.
She has remained tight-lipped about her relationship with Clooney.
She said: “It’s really not anyone else’s business. A personal life is a personal life. I know there has to be a happy medium being in the public eye.
“You just have to remember not to give everything to everybody.”
Last night a spokesman for Clooney declined to comment on the reports the couple had broken up.

The 52-year-old heartthrob is currently in Europe to film "The Monuments Men" with Cate Blanchett and his buddy Matt Damon.
In addition to his role in the movie, Clooney is also the director of the drama, which is described as follows: "In a race against time, a crew of art historians and museum curators unite to recover renown works of art stolen by Nazis before Hitler destroys them."
"The Monuments Men" arrives in theaters nationwide just in time for the holidays on December 18.
