The 83-year-old Jackson family matriarch, who is one of the appointed guardians to the 15-year-old aspiring actress, said she is recovering well after her apparent suicide attempt in June, reported Contactmusic.
"The treatment is going good, really good. She's my baby. It's hard for me, really hard. All I want these kids to be is happy," she said. Paris, daughter of the late Michael Jackson, is currently staying at a therapeutic private school, located just outside California, while she recovers.
Sources close to the Jackson family revealed that Paris felt abandoned by everyone after the death of the ‘King of Pop’, who kept the family together, TMZ.com reported
The 15-year old girl, who apparently found it hard to relate to her younger brother Blanket and grandmother Katherine due to the age difference, was close to Prince, but they became distant when he developed other interests like girls, martial arts and cars.
The fights between the two escalated so much that Paris attempted to end her life by swallowing pills and slitting her arm with a meat cleaver in June.
Another source revealed that Paris has been telling friends and family that she wants to repair her relationship with Prince, and regrets the conflicts that divided them.
Her mother Debbie Rowe has revealed her fury after photos and information of Paris at a graduation ceremony are being sold
The boarding school specialises in teen recovery
Debbie Rowe is furious after pictures of her daughter Paris Jackson have been sold by someone at a boarding school.
Paris, 15, is living under a pseudonym at the $14,000 per month school which specialises in teaching troubled teens.
It’s
reported she has been at the school for more than a month and attended a
graduation ceremony where she happily posed for a picture with an
unidentified male.
It’s understood the same person has also revealed highly private and detailed information about Paris.
The picture – which Mirror Online have obtained but decided not to publish - shows Paris looking healthy with dyed hair following her attempted suicide in June after taking pills and cutting her arm.
Rowe has told TMZ she will sue the people selling out Paris and taking advantage of a young girl in recovery.
She angrily told friends: "These people, including some websites, are screwing with my daughter's ability to get better." Katherine fears her granddaughter could relapse
Katherine Jackson, 83, has admitted she fears her granddaughter will relapse if she is exposed to taunts and internet trolls regarding her late father Michael Jackson.
This could have influenced the decision of family – who are currently involved in a messy legal battle against AEG Live over the death of Jacko – to send Paris to the boarding school located outside of California.
The school monitor and manage the girl’s online activity, according to Radar Online.
“There are three levels of privileges at the school,” a source told the website. Before her suicide attempt she wrote on Twitter: I wonder why tears are salty
“Because Paris has only been there for a brief period, she is
still on “daily”, meaning that she has to earn her privileges through a
point count system for such things as good behaviour, doing your
homework, punctuality.
“Those privileges are television time,
internet, access to the phone, socializing with girls from the other
homes on campus. As a result, Paris’ access to social media is limited.”
Paris’ uncle Randy ranted on Twitter this week: “I just hate the fact that you [Paris] will probably still be there on my brother's birthday."
He added: “She is not psychotic. There is no reason for her to be in a psychiatric hospital this long away from her family.”
Rowe hit back claiming he’s wrong and grossly misinformed.
She’s finishing up some psychiatric treatment at the UCLA Medical Center and once that’s done Paris Jackson will travel to Utah to continue recovering from her suicide attempt.
The 15-year-old daughter of the late Michael Jackson is slated to
spend some time at the Diamond Ranch Academy at the request of her
mother Debbie Rowe and grandmother Katherine Jackson.
An inside source told press, “Paris is doing good right now, but
everyone is really worried she’ll do it again because she was so
unhappy. No one believes that changed in just a few weeks, even with the
best of treatment.”
Furthermore, Paris will not be permitted access to social media as
her family wants to closely monitor her interactions to prevent further
drama.
“She was on Twitter nonstop, and a lot of what was coming back to her
was very negative and critical. She was constantly being told she was
ugly or funny looking, or told she came from a crazy family. She just
couldn’t handle that and everything else going on in her life.”
“Let’s be clear there would have been no Twitter, no Facebook, and no
movies if Michael were still alive. He knew the dangers of letting too
many people into your world too soon.”
The source added, “Paris wants to come home, but Katherine is so
scared of what will happen if she does too soon. Katherine can’t handle
anything like what happened last month again. Everyone is clear that
Paris has to be supervised and supported during this trial. She can’t be
near that trial or hear the horrible things being said about Michael.
He was a saint to her, and she doesn’t believe anything bad about her
father. She gets so distraught when she hears that stuff.”
Paris Jackson DETESTS Justin Bieber, largely and ironically because he wouldn't speak up about teenage girls cutting themselves ... TMZ has learned.
Sources
connected to the family tell TMZ ... Paris -- who is currently at UCLA
Medical Center after cutting herself with a knife and downing 20 Motrin
-- thinks Justin is a terrible role model for young girls. She was
enraged after some of Justin's female fans started tweeting about
cutting themselves as an expression of love for the singer and he went
radio silent, rather than talking the girls out of it.
We're told
Paris got very angry after seeing the pics TMZ posted of Justin smoking
weed in a hotel room in early January. She thinks he owes his fans
more as a role model.
Paris -- who lives in Justin's Calabasas gated community -- thinks Justin's various missteps in the hood are "a disgrace."
The word "hate" was used very clearly to describe Paris' feelings toward JB.
After being hospitalized for an apparent suicide attempt on Wednesday (June 5), new details are emerging about Paris Jackson's emergency.
According to TMZ, the daughter of Michael Jackson called a suicide
hotline and the recipient then called 9-1-1. Sources say that she left a
suicide note, cut her arm with a meat cleaver, and took a large number
of Motrin pills.
Rushed to the hospital, the 15-year-old girl was placed under a psychiatric hold for 72 hours and received stitches.
Assuring the anxious public, an attorney for Katherine Jackson issued
a statement saying, "Paris is physically fine and getting appropriate
medical attention. Being a sensitive 15 year old is difficult no matter
who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person
closest to you
Stepping in to support her sister, Prince Michael Jackson cancelled a recent talk show appearance after news broke regarding Paris' suicide attempt.
According to reports, the 16-year-old decided not to appear on
“Wetten, dass . . . ? (Wanna Bet?)” in light of the recent family drama.
“We had been in contact with their management since last night
but this morning it was confirmed that he will not want to leave the
country," Prince’s rep explained.
Paris is currently being treated in a Los Angeles hospital after an attempted suicide by means of pills and cutting herself.
The Jackson family released a statement last night assuring the media that Paris is “physically fine.”
