When Buckingham Palace confirmed on July 22 that Kate had gone into labor, Twitter absolutely exploded with excitement. Celebs from all over the world immediately began posting congratulations as everyone waits to meet the little heir to the royal throne.

Kate Middleton, 31, went into labor with the royal baby during the early morning hours of July 22! Excited celebrities, news organizations and fans took to Twitter to offer Kate and her husband Prince William, 31, well wishes!

Twitter absolutely exploded on July 22 after Buckingham Palace confirmed the news that Kate had been admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital. Check out some of the tweets from your favorite celebrities:

Kate Middleton In Labor — Official Palace Press Release

Clarence House tweeted the first official statement on July 22, stating:
“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted this morning to St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London in the early stages of labour. The Duchess traveled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge.”
We told you that she will be giving birth in the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital, which is the same wing that Princess Diana gave birth to both William and Prince Harry! Also, the Royal Household official Surgeon-gynecologist Dr. Alan Farthing and the Queen’s Surgeon-Gynecologist Dr. Marcus Setchell are the ones who are going to deliver the baby.
The little prince/princess will be third in line for the royal throne, behind Prince Charles and Prince William. Congrats to Kate and Will!
