After breaking off a sometimes rocky, on-again off-again relationship with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson is taking things slowly. But he has made a romantic connection with actress Riley Keough. It’s nearly impossible to think of R-Patz with anyone but Kristen, but we think Riley might actually be a good fit for Rob. Here’s why.

1. They Can Be Low-Key Together
Rob’s never been one for the spotlight. He’s always felt much more comfortable being just a normal, laid back guy, and with Riley — whose star-power is much dimmer than Kristen’s — he’ll have more opportunities to be himself. “[Rob] really likes the fact that [Riley] is not absorbed by celebrity and that she really isn’t a celebrity herself,” a source close to the actor told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “Riley is a cool girl that lets Rob be himself.”
2. They Both Have Musical Backgrounds
Rob has a strong not-so-secret desire to crossover and be a musician, and he’s collaborated with Isabella “Machine” Summers of Florence & The Machine before. We’re sure he has plenty to talk about with Riley, who — oh you didn’t know? — is the freaking granddaughter of rock ‘n’ roll legend, Elvis Presley!
3. He Can Trust Her
“Rob is so happy that he can trust someone again because at the end of the day, Kristen’s affair forever haunted him,” a source told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. Enough said.
4. She’s More Of A Girly-Girl
Don’t get us wrong, we love Kristen’s cute boyish style as much as the next guy, but we also think it might be nice for Rob to have more of a glam girl in his life for a change. Riley’s proven on countless red carpets and in her day-to-day life that she can be a bit more elegant. Speaking of…
5. They Both Know What It’s Like To Be The Face Of Dior
Now that Rob is the face of Dior’s men’s fragrance, he’s going to be doing promotional events and photo shoots that might really be draining. He’ll need someone to talk to and lean on, and who better than someone who knows exactly what he’s going through!? Riley was the face of Miss Dior Cherie Parfum in 2006 and has appeared on the covers of Elle UK and Elle France, so if anyone knows what Rob’s going through right now, it’s her.
6. She’s Not A Very Far Cry From Kristen Stewart
For all of Riley’s differences, she does have a shocking amount of similarities as well. This should make the transition fairly easy for Rob, as he continues to try to move on from K-Stew.
