Crazy In Love singer Beyonce showed off the dramatic new look on Instagram - we think it suits her
We all felt Beyonce’s pain when her long curly locks got caught in whirring fan on stage.
Possibly to make sure such a hair-raising incident never happens again or just because she is so beautiful that any look suits the Halo singer – Beyonce has gone for the chop.
Displaying her new demure Pixie cut on Instagram the star stunned fans with her dramatic new look.
It is quite a change for Crazy In Love singer Bey, whose long locks and crazy wigs are part of her trademark fiery look.
But anyone who watches the video of Beyonce and that fan (you can see it below) will completely understand why Blue Ivy’s mum wanted less of a lioness mane.
In fact the mother-of-one’s handcrafted and custom made wig collection was once worth $1 million.
Kindly Bey donates her worn wigs to an organization that provides pieces for chemotherapy patients – but it remains to be seen if the charity will receive a sudden truckload as Jay-Z’s better half is known for changing her look in the blink of an eye.
Beyonce was last seen with her long locks as recently as
Monday as she performed her last show at the Barclays Center, Brooklyn,
New York but it was back in July when fan-gate happened.
It's not clear who cut Bey free in the end, but thanks to
loads of fans who kindly whipped out their phones when the disaster
happened, it's all caught on tape.
Fortunately, Beyonce could laugh at the situation and later posted a handwritten note on Instagram, rewriting the lyrics to Halo to fit the situation.
"Gravity can't begin, to pull me out of the fan again/ I felt my hair was yankin'/ From the fan that's always hatin'" she posted.

It
went like this, she had a gig in Montreal, and was just minding her own
business and performing Halo when her hair got caught in a massive fan
on the side of the stage.
And instead of having a massive screaming panic
and picturing all her extensions being pulled out and her being left
bald in front of thousands of people, Beyonce did not miss a note and
just carried on singing.
Amazing.
Watch the video below - and laugh at all the panicked security men running up, looking at her hair and running away again.
If you've seen the singer's
documentary, Life Is But A Dream, you know that she's pretty scary to
work for, so at least two of those men were like, 'my job is on the line
if I don't get this hair out of this fan'.
