Reality star tweets about 'rollercoaster journey' being
broke and spends the day with some hairy apes. No, not including any of
her ex boyfriends
It sounds as though Kerry Katona has swallowed a self-help book.
The former prawn-ring-flogger appears to be enjoying life again after being officially skint for the second time.
After enjoying a day out at Chester Zoo with her newest family line-up including fiancé George Kay and her two youngest children, Max and Heidi, she tweeted about the ups, downs and dramas of her ongoing soap opera-worthy life.
She wrote: “It's been a hard road, but I feel like life's finally coming together and all I can do is smile! :) xxxx.”
Amongst her other life-affirming tweets, she wrote: "Dream Big, Love Strong, Laugh Often, these are my rules for happiness! Xxxx
"Feeling very happy and blessed right now... I really do have the most amazing family and friends xxxxx.
"You can't move forward in life, if you're constantly looking behind you at the past. The past teaches us lessons to learn and then move on.x."
We feel better already, thanks Kezza.
K-Kat, 32, recently opened up about her cash crisis on This Morning and said: “I want to make it really, really clear: you’re not going to see a breakdown. I’ve been clean four years. I’ve got the love of my life and four healthy children.”
And on postponing going up the aisle for the third time with former rugby player George, she said: "It doesn’t mean no wedding, we’ve just got to look at it sensibly.
“It’s not something we need to rush into and when it happens it happens. I’ve never felt more secure and I have no insecurities with George. I feel safe, I feel protected, he’s a great step-dad.”
She's even said she's been inspired by a budget Emmerdale wedding, but we doubt she won't throw in a vol-au-vent or two.
And it's no wonder Kezza is smiling. She's just landed the part of playing Marilyn Monroe in Norma Jeane The Musical in a London production.
She said of the shock casting: "A successful career in drama has always been a main goal of mine and this role is a challenge, but one I'm going to grab with both hands.
"I'm thrilled to have been given this opportunity to play one of the world's biggest female icons and can't wait to get to work."
Writer and director Belvedere Pashun (of classy toe-tapper WAG! The Musical) thinks the Atomic Kitten star's bumpy past will make her the perfect actress to play the tormented screen siren.
Belvedere said previously: "Marilyn's life was one of extremes - poverty, abandonment, abuse followed by a flowering beauty which brought attention, fame, wealth and power and then the well documented tragic fall.
"I needed an actor of huge talent, personality and experience - Kerry was at the top of my list.
"This show will change the shape of people's perceptions of Marilyn Monroe and we expect to announce a new star of drama on stage and screen with Kerry's performance."
The last time Kerry appeared as Marilyn Monroe was on Celebrity Stars In Their Eyes back in 2004 - which fortunately, no one remembers.
