The 27-year-old 'Poker Face' hitmaker adviced the band consisting of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, to pay no attention to such criticisms, reported Daily Mirror.
"Don't you dare let those people boo you. If I did hear what I heard out there, I just want to tell you that you deserve every bit of success that you have," Gaga said.
"I want to leave right now. I don't want to stay anymore because I don't want to be in a room where people are booing," she added. The band members who received 'Best Song of the Summer' award at the ceremony, however seemed unperturbed by the criticisms and remained positive.
