Becks takes his kids to a 1D gig in LA and goes to meet them
backstage, naturally. Niall turns into an excited fan girl. Who
wouldn't?
Regardless of whether you're an international teeny bopper pop star
with over 13 million Twitter followers, you're still going to get
starstruck by David Beckham, aren't you?
So when D-Becks rocked up backstage with his kids Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper to meet 1D after their gig in Los Angeles at the Staples Centre, it's no wonder the boys got a bit screamy.
Football fan and exclamation enthusiast Niall Horan wrote on Twitter: "Met our footballing hero! Mr David beckham! He brought the boys and his little girl to see us! What a Nice Man! So courteous!"
It was the boys' first visit to LA since back in their X Factor days and it seems as though they all couldn't believe their luck as they performed the first of four nights at the 20,000-capacity venue.
The boys will soon be back in the UK to promote their 3D docu-movie, One Direction: This Is Us at the end of August. We hope you've got your popcorn ready.
Punctuation illiterate Niall continued his online love fest: "It's good t be back in LA ! It's been too long! Havnt been here since we performed on the xfactor final before Xmas last year".
While Louis Tomlinson wrote: "Amazing show today !! Loved it ! Can't believe we just played the staples centre! Sickkkkkkkkk."
But the 1D boys may have some competition in future as it's thought the Beckham kids have their own musical talents - they must get it off their mum, ahem.
Victoria said recently of her all-singing, all-dancing Brady Bunch: “As they go to bed the boys break into a chorus of Walk Like A Man. It’s their favourite song from the Jersey Boys musical.
“Cruz is very good at breakdancing as well. He spins on his head. And he is doing ballet - inspired by the fact that, ‘His cousin is very lucky because he gets to lift up girls’.”
Fortunately for them, One Direction get to do that without having to wear leotards.
