Scientology Leader David Miscavige’s Wife: Not Missing

The Church of Scientology has always maintained a high level of secrecy, so when David Miscavige’s wife Shelly was claimed to be missing, the rumors started to fly.
Former Scientologist Leah Remini filed a missing persons report and the Los Angeles Police Department shared that they were conducting an ongoing investigation into Shelly’s whereabouts.

However, now the LAPD has confirmed that Ms. Miscavige is alive and well after having a face-to-face meeting with her. She had previously not been seen in public in six years.
A spokesperson for the Church of Scientology blasted the missing persons drama, stating, "This is just harassment. It is a publicity stunt cooked up by a small band of unemployed fanatics who live on the fringe of the Internet. The Church and the attorney for Mrs. Miscavige have already responded to this ludicrous claim.”
