Coleen Rooney tells pals she is ready for move to London if husband Wayne signs for Chelsea

Speculation has been mounting that husband Wayne could move from Manchester United to Chelsea, and sources revealed Coleen, 27, is now on board

As Coleen Rooney released a string of holiday snaps, pals revealed she could be packing again soon, after she told them: “I’m ready to move down south.”
Speculation has been mounting that husband Wayne could move from Manchester United to Chelsea, and sources revealed Coleen, 27, is now on board.
A pal said the couple were “very much a united front”, adding: “A few years ago Coleen wouldn’t have entertained the idea of moving away from the North West. Now she is actively looking into a move down south as an option.”
Coleen looked relaxed as she took a holiday in the Portuguese resort of Quinta do Lago in the Algarve with her two boys – Kai, three, and two-month-old Klay – and mum Colette.
The pictures show her playing in the pool with little Klay and relaxing in a bikini at the beach. She also shared snaps of Kai covering himself in sun cream last week and her two sons snuggling up in matching pirate pyjamas.
One onlooker said: “She looks like a very contented lady at the moment.”
Coleen booked the break to coincide with United’s tour of Australia. But Wayne flew back from Oz for treatment on an injury.
The Wag has been bombarded with abuse from footie fans who do not want Wayne to leave the club and last week speculation reached fever pitch over claims he was ready for the shock move to London.
A pal of Scouser Coleen said: “She is very close to her family, but she realises the journey between London and Liverpool really isn’t an issue time-wise these days.
“Coleen has had a brief look at the possibility of moving into leafy areas of Surrey. She’s told Wayne she’s ready to make the big move south if she needs to. She’s also looked in West London, in plush areas like Kensington and Notting Hill.”
The Rooneys currently live in a £4million mansion in Prestbury, Cheshire. Luxury homes in areas such as Godalming, Surrey, can cost anything up to £8million.
But it is thought Wayne could earn around £50million over the next five years if he moves.
Last week Manchester United rejected a £22million bid from rivals Chelsea for striker Roo, but manager Jose Mourinho is expected to increase the offer to £30million.
