Staff in her local Starbucks made a pig’s ear of spelling Pippa’s name on her coffee cup, calling the future Queen’s sis Pepa, instead.
Perhaps the 29-year-old’s shades, stylish blue-striped shirt and sensible skirt confused workers at a west London branch.
Customers are asked for their name when ordering a drink and onlookers were bemused when a rushed barista wrote “Pepa”, similar to children’s favourite Peppa Pig, on the side of her paper cup.
Still, the woman whose rear won millions of fans when she was maid of honour at Kate and Wills’ wedding in April 2011 seemed unflustered.
If Pepa gave Pippa the pip she certainly was not showing it.
