It looks like little Usher Raymond V is on the mend after the terrible accident that nearly cost him his life

It's been an awful time for Usher and his family recently. After his son Usher Raymond V was involved in a freak incident in a swimming pool, his parents then headed to court to fight for custody over him while he lay in the hospital.
But it looks as though things are finally calming down and the little cutey is getting better.
His mum Tameka Foster shared some pictures of her son laying in bed and looking pretty chipper.
With the snaps she wrote: "Woke up cheerful, happy and hungry ... watching Fresh Prince. What does he know about Fresh Prince? lol."
It's a whole lot different to how Tameka felt on Friday when she broke down in tears after she failed to win custody of her son from her singer ex-husband Usher.

She was hoping to regain temporary primary custody of the boy after he slipped into a coma following the accident when the child's hand got stuck in the pool's drainage system at Usher's Atlanta home last week.
Tameka lost primary custody of sons Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Ely last year but she requested an emergency custody hearing following the accident claiming her children were not properly cared for.
Taking to the stand at the hearing, she said: "I don't know where my kids are, who they're with, who's taking care of them."
However, Usher claimed he sent an email to his ex every Sunday to let her know what they will be doing the following week.
The star's lawyer said the children were "thriving" and the pool accident "could have happened to anyone".
In a heartfelt move Usher then hugged Tameka after the hearing.
On Thursday, Tameka posted the first emotional picture online showing Usher’s eldest son being cuddled by his mum as he recovered in intensive care.

Tameka, who lost her eldest son Kile Ishmael in a jet-ski accident last year, added a caption: "My favorite 5 year old. What a blessing!
“I have always loved and appreciated my sons but tragedies and close calls make this even more evident.
"URV had an angel named Kile Ishmael and our Lord and true savior to look after him.
“Words cannot express the relief and how thankful to God I truly am.
"Thank you Jehovah God, Jesus and Kile also The AV worker that saved my son is my Hero!!! Period."
And singer Usher has now thanked them for their heroic actions.

He said in a statement: "I am blessed and fortunate to say that my son Usher V is doing well and is recovering.
"I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of prayers, love and support for my family’s well-being.
"I would like to thank my Aunt Rena as well as the doctors and nurses who are working with us around the clock.
"I would especially like to thank the two men who saved my son's life, Eugene Stachurski and Ben Crews.
"They are true heroes and I am deeply grateful to them."
