The unusual mode of transport was caught on camera by some American tourists who can be heard saying: "What even is that?"
The video is going viral online, with viewers baffled by the contraption.
"It looks like a motorised skateboard!" said one.
Another raised concerns about the safety of the three passengers (only one of whom is wearing a helmet): "It makes you invisible to trucks, increasing your already high chances of a horrific death."
